Frequently asked questions

Who can join the Refer & Earn programme?
Everyone. Students, freelancers, job seekers, community leaders and Kenyans living abroad can all join. You only need a network and a free account.
What do I earn for a referral?
You earn KES 5,167 per successful placement. Some jobs may carry a different reward, which is shown on the job card.
Are these the same jobs as on the Jobs page?
Yes. This page reads the same list of active jobs as the main Jobs page, with the same photos, countries and categories. When we post a new job, it appears here automatically.
How does link tracking work?
Your link contains your personal code. When someone opens it, their browser remembers your code for 60 days. When that person registers or logs in on FlyMe, they are credited to you. The first link a person opens is the one that counts.
Can I see who I referred?
Yes. After you log in, the dashboard shows everyone who joined through your link and everyone you added with the form. You see their first name, last initial, how many jobs they applied for and the latest status.
What if the person opens my link on another phone or browser?
Tracking works per browser. If they switch devices, ask them to quote your referral code when they contact our office, or add them with the referral form on this page.
When do I get paid?
Rewards are processed within 7 working days after your referral is confirmed as placed and deployed. We pay via M-Pesa or bank transfer. If you are outside Kenya, contact us about payout options.
What if my referral does not get placed?
You only earn when a referral is successfully placed. Referring suitable people for the right jobs improves the chances.
Is there a fee to join?
No. The Refer & Earn programme is free to join.
I live abroad. Can I take part?
Yes. Share your link with family and friends in Kenya or in your host country, or use the form with their phone number. Use the international format, for example +971 50 123 4567.
Can I apply on someone's behalf?
Use the referral form with their name, phone number and the job they want. Our team will call them and help them apply. They must agree to be contacted and must provide their own documents.
Can I refer someone who is not online?
Yes. The referral form only needs a name and phone number. Only refer people who have agreed to be contacted.
How do I keep the people I refer safe from scams?
Remind them never to pay for a job, to confirm agency licences with the NEA and to use only the official contacts on this website.
